Perfectly Pink Princess Party

February 21, 2009

Okay, I’m going to rewind to Valentine’s Day and the Princess Party that Erin and I attended.  We had three wonderful hours of mother/daughter bonding time and even had lunch at Subway!  Here are some pictures…

Our first stop was to make a bracelet with Ariel.  Erin did not want to have her picture made with Ariel.  (I found out later that Ariel didn’t have enough clothing on for Erin’s preferences.  LOL)  We then headed over to Pocahontas to have face painting done.

Here she is in front of the teepee.
You can see the necklace she made at Ariel’s station around her neck.

After looking over her choices, she decided to have a butterfly painted on her face.

And Pocahontas…

Then we stopped and saw Tinkerbell.  There were a lot of girls at her table.  Can you see all the little ones in the background?  It was a busy day…

We walked around for a little bit before she decided that she wanted to have her fingernails painted next.  This was at Jasmine’s station.  No picture of Jasmine either…again, not enough clothes.  HA!

After her nails we walked around a took a few pictures at stations that she didn’t have tickets for.

First, there was Belle…

And then another princess.  At first she wasn’t sure she wanted to go near her since she didn’t know who she was supposed to be.  Ultimately, she decided a pink gown was good enough reason.

And last she was able to "learn a Princess dance" with a real ballerina.  She was very reluctant to do this at first, but finally asked if she could.  I’m glad she did because I think it was her favorite part!

Here she is waiting to start…

And this last one is from tonight.  She received a new dress this week and absolutely it.
She said it’s her new favorite princess dress!

My little girl is now 14 y o. But when she was younger, she loved all the Disney Princesses, too. Especially Ariel … Little Mermaid was her favorite! And I agree with Erin about not having enough clothing on. 🙂

Cherish these moments because our babies grow up oh, so fast.

Oh, and I think the Princess in pink may have been Sleeping Beauty.

    Jill (the big sister)

PS – How are you feeling? 🙂
