Labeling Pictures

April 2, 2008

Yikes, I have GOT to come up with a system for labeling my pictures.  Since we moved to a digital camera a few years ago I almost never get prints anymore.  (This drives me insane, but as long as we have 3 or 4 backups, I’ll survive.)  BUT I was noticing this week how much my kids look alike as babies.  Kelsie looks so much like Erin did and Sean looked a lot like Christopher for the first couple of years.  So far, I’m pretty blessed because I have one red head and one dark haired child in each gender, but if we ever do have another one I need to have a better method than "oh…girl….red hair…that’s Erin!"

Help?  Any good ideas?  I don’t scrapbook, but would love to learn.  I just can’t imagine how to get started with 7 years worth of pictures!

I would suggest Creative Memories Memory Manager, or you can get Picassa (a gmail product) which is free. I don't care for Picassa, but I love my CM Memory Manager. I know what you mean about having lots of pictures to catch up on. I can so relate.

I know what you mean!! I just put up a couple product reviews on my blog http://www.homesteadblogger.com/OklahomaJamie , just click on Product Reviews to see them. They're about the digital scrapbook software I use to create my pages, and about a great photo (labeling) organizing system. Both have a free 30 day trial.
